The FIFA football (soccer) organization has long been a classic among European and international leagues and other competitions, and the video games from EA Sports based on FIFA have reached that same status. The FIFA video game series has an edition dedicated to every world cup, ever EuroCup, plus an annual release that allows you to play in the best leagues from all over the world. This edition is a bit of a throwback to the 2002 FIFA World Cup, which some gamers might be too young to even remember. FIFA 2002 World Cup arrived with some new improvements in how the players moved compared to previous games, with movements that are better and more realistic. The graphics also improved over the last version, but keep in mind that this game is well over a decade old with graphics to match. Another nice addition is a smooth zoom-in and zoom-out for replays of the best plays that doesn’t interfere with your game play.
If you are a fan of this series, then you already know what to expect from FIFA 2002 World Cup, because it hasn’t deviated too much. If you’re not a fan, this one won’t change your mind.
